Behavior Plan and Expectations

Fourth graders will be expected to follow behavior expectations of the classroom. Teachers will be using the CHAMPS behavior system to reinforce proper behavior. Consequences for moving colors from green will result in privileges lost. Further issues will result in additional disciplinary measures including, but not limited to parent contact or administrative referral.

Students are expected to use the restroom prior to class starting. Restroom breaks are given at: 9:55 am, 10:40 am, 12:25 pm, 12:55 pm, and 1:40 pm. Our classroom snack time is between 10:45 - 11:00 am. We ask that if you wish to share cupcakes or another snack for a student's birthday, you do so either at snack time, or at the end of the day (2:45 pm). It is necessary that all fourth graders have a non-disposable water bottle daily. Students may only drink water in class. There is a water fountain within the classroom for students to re-fill their water bottles. They may also refill their bottles during scheduled breaks.
