We have held our first two "Coffee with the Town Manager" events and will continue to have these on the third Thursday of each month from 9-10 a.m. Town Manager Steve Koontz invites you to join him for coffee and conversation to learn more about Town services and programs. Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and to share their thoughts and ideas. All Coffee with the Town Manager events are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend. These events are a really great opportunity for residents to get individuals questions answered and to have the opportunity to have an informal conversation with the Town Manager.
The next two scheduled events will be:
- Thursday, September 19th, 9-10 a.m., Historic Town Hall, 220 North Tubb Street
- Thursday, October 17th, 9-10 a.m., Oakland Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall, 218 E. Oakland Avenue
If you know of a group, church, or business that is interested in hosting a Coffee with the Town Manager event or if you are interested in having the Town Manager come talk to your group on a different date and time, please contact Elise Hui by phone at (407) 656-1117, x2110 or by email at ehui@oaklandfl.gov and we will be happy to set something up.
