Coffee, Donuts and Civics 101

Join your neighbors for coffee, donuts and a recap of Florida legislation that can impact our community. Learn how easy it has become to get involved and have your voice heard by our elected officials. Oakland Commissioner, Joseph McMullen, Tri-County League of Cities President, will present for this special event, followed by Florida League of Cities President, Orlando Commissioner, Tony Ortiz. Learn how a bill becomes a law in Florida and how important your voice is in the advocacy process.

  • HB 403 / SB 266 Regulation of Home-Based Businesses
  • HB 55 / SB 284 Preemption of Local Zoning & Development by the State
