Enrollment for the 2026-2027 School Year (VPK thru 5th Grade) - TOURS ARE NOT AVAILABLE

All applications must be submitted online and children must be age eligible for the school year you are applying for.  Applications will not be taken over the phone, via email, nor in person. Tours are not offered, please view our website for all school information.

Children entering VPK must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026.                                                                                                                         Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026. 

Lottery applications for the 2026-2027 school year were accepted January 6 through February 28, 2026 for VPK thru 5th grade. 

2026-2027 OACS Waitlist Application If you did not enter the 2026-2027 lottery, we encourage you to submit a waitlist application. It is best to use a desktop or laptop when submitting your application. Applicants are placed on the waitlist in date submission order, priority grouping is considered.  You will receive an email confirmation from our Registrar with your waitlist position within 10-15 school days from date of submission. The waitlist is for the 2026-2027 school year only, it does not roll over from year to year.

We anticipate having the following seats available per grade level at the time of the 2026-2027 lottery:
60 in VPK (Full day seats only: 8:30am - 3:20pm (Wed 2:20pm) $125/week), 25 in kindergarten, and in grades 1 through 5, 3 to 5 seats per grade level. Current school capacity is 570 students (VPK-5th).

How does the lottery and waitlist work?

Each school year we use a lottery system for enrollment of new students in VPK through 5th grade. We have an Open Enrollment period where families new to OACS can be placed on the lottery list for the upcoming school year. The following priority order is used in the lottery: OACS siblings, Oakland residents, Non-Oakland Orange/Lake County residents, and other Florida residents. This is a lottery draw, it is not first come, first served.  Oakland residents will be requested to submit proof of residency prior to the lottery.

The lottery is held in March and by the middle of March all families will be contacted via email with the results. Children in the lottery will either be offered an enrollment opportunity or issued a waitlist number. Our waitlist stays active throughout the school year and does not roll over from year to year. After the lottery window closes you may submit a waitlist application to be placed on the wait list.

Student Capacity (Seat Availability) for the 2025 - 2026 school year as of February 23, 2026: all grade levels are full, we have no openings.  This information will be updated every 12 weeks as required by the State of Florida.
