[ARCHIVED] Spring Cleanup - Last special pick up on Saturday, May 18th

Clip art of garbage bin

The traditional Spring Cleanup underwent some changes last year. No longer does the Town place open top dumpsters at the traditional locations as we have done in the past. This worked when the Town's population and jurisdictional boundary was much smaller but is not the most efficient process anymore. The Town's contracted trash hauler has already performed a special curb-side pick up on Saturday May 11, and will again be doing the same on Saturday, May 18, for our residential customers. Be sure to get items out to the curb before 8:00 a.m. or you might get missed. This is a great way to rid yourself of all the unwanted junk and old household items that seem to accumulate over time.

DO NOT place hazardous chemicals, old paint, electronic items, batteries, or anything else that might be hazardous out for pickup. The Town does not provide for pickup or disposal of hazardous materials. To identify and learn more about proper disposal of items such as these, please visit Orange County's website.
