A lot of fun was to be had for all on Saturday, April 13th, courtesy of the Town of Oakland and local partners. Bounce houses, rock painting, face painting, balloon figures, train rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, Kona Ice and BurgerLab food trucks, Easter egg hunt, and pictures with the Easter Bunny were all things that guests could participate in while at the event.
The Town of Oakland would especially like to thank the following:
- Our amazing Easter Bunny!
- Lakeside Church for the huge group of volunteers, for providing golf cart transportation, and for providing the Golden Egg prizes.
- Volunteers from Oakland Avenue Charter School and Orange County Fire Department Cadets as well as all other volunteers.
- Orange County Fire Department Station 37 for bringing their fire vehicles and giveaways for the kids.
- Town of Oakland Police Department, Public Works Department and Administration employees who supported the event.
- Autumn Lockhart for taking pictures of the event.
- 5 East Rocks, Orange County Utilities Water Division; and Crafters For A Cause all for hosting tables at the event.
- West Orange Baptist Church for allowing use of their property for overflow parking.
- All others who helped make this event possible!
