[ARCHIVED] Oakland Avenue Charter School Pennies for Patients Campaign Results

Oakland Avenue Charter School Main Entrance Exterior

Pamela Dwyer, Principal of Oakland Avenue Charter School wants to give thanks to our community and provide a final update on the Pennies for Patients - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Campaign.

“This outstanding community knocked it out of the park yet again.  During our Pennies for Patients Campaign to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we donated over $6,100.  This outstanding donation was a collection of donations of loose change, cash, and online donations, Hero bracelet sales, non-uniform day collection, and Jeans for a Cause from OACS and Town of Oakland Staff. We are so proud to honor our very own, OACS Hero, Landon, with such an outstanding donation.”

Just when I feel that I could not be prouder to be a part of such a giving community, new heights are reached.   Thank you for helping show our Eagles that each of us can make an impact on the world around us. Many thanks to all those that helped make this happen. A special shout out to Ms. Ana-Alicia Myers for coordinating this outstanding program.

Congratulations to Mrs. Guarino's, 2nd Grade, class for being the winners of the Pasta Party!
