Nestled between Winter Garden and Clermont in the beautiful Town of Oakland, lies a "hidden gem." The 128-acre Oakland Nature Preserve, located at 747 Machete Trail, offers environmental education and ecotourism activities for visitors of all ages.
Join us on Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the ONP 2020 Community Open House featuring food, LEGO build, animal interaction, guided hikes, programs and more. A portion of donations for this event will go toward scholarships for educational programs.

The mission of ONP is to promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin's ecosystems and cultural history, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve.
