Oakland Nature Preserve (ONP) is getting “Crooked for a Cause.”
The Crooked Can Brewing Company, based at Plant Street Market in Winter Garden, has partnered with ONP to assist in its mission of educating the public and restoring the Lake Apopka basin.
The brewery will be donating $1 of every specialty "Oakland Nature Preserve Beer" back to the Preserve. The brew, an amber lager, is made with blackberry, vanilla and cinnamon.
Crooked Can Brewing Company’s brewing process is monitored under an award-winning brew master to ensure the vision is reached using traditional brewing methods and cutting-edge practices.
ONP is a 128-acre preserve offering environmental education and ecotourism activities for visitors of all ages. Its mission is to promote an understanding of the fragile balance between mankind and the environment by educating visitors about Lake Apopka basin’s ecosystems and cultural history, and by restoring and conserving the lands within the Preserve.
