Through the tremendous support of wonderful parent volunteers, Coach Jessica, Coach Becky, Coach Samantha, and Coach Jennifer  as well as other parents and staff members, OACS launched a Girls On the Run (GOTR) program this fall.  Each week girls, grades 3-5, engaged in activities to promote confidence, health, and friendship.   Twice a week, for 10 weeks the girls learned valuable lessons on life skills followed by physical activity.   The culmination of the fall program was participation in a 5K run.  On December 3rd, the GOTR participants ran in the Lake Eola 5K.    We are so thankful for the dedication of the volunteers and tremendously proud of our girls for their 5K accomplishment.  A great time was had by all!
