[ARCHIVED] Santa's Lane route and road closure information

Santa's will arrive on a one-horse open sleigh

Santa’s Lane Drive Through Christmas is happening this Saturday, December 5 from 4-7 p.m. and we wanted to share some important traffic information about the event.

 

Residents will be able to catch a glimpse of Santa arriving to Town Center on a one-horse open sleigh! His trip to down Santa’s Lane begins at 2:45 p.m. and is outlined in the map below.


There will be temporary roadblocks to allow Santa to travel from S. Cross St. to W. Sadler Ave. to N. Tubb St. to arrive at the Town Center. Temporary roadblocks will be lifted after Santa has passed. Additional roadblocks will be in effect from 4-7 p.m. with Oakland Police present.

 

All participating vehicles will be required to park at West Orange Baptist Church located at 200 S. Tubb St. and when instructed by a volunteer, proceed to the route as depicted on the map


Attendees will be required to stay in their vehicles for their safety. No walk-ups will be permitted.
