Subtropical Storm Nicole

Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect for our area. Tropical Storm conditions could arrive as early as Wednesday morning along the coast. Orange County remains under a Local State of Emergency and is one of 34 counties in a Florida State of Emergency for Subtropical Storm Nicole.
Sandbags
Sandbags are available inside Town Hall, 230 N. Tubb Street, today and will be available as limited supplies last. A maximum of three bags will be given for each Town address during normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The bag fill site at the intersection of Sadler and Cross is open and unmanned. Please bring your own shovel or trowel to fill your sandbags.
Orange County Schools
Orange County Public Schools are closely monitoring the storm with the National Weather Service and the Orange County Office of Emergency Management. At this time, no decision has been made to cancel school or extracurricular activities.
